Chatter Boxes

The babies, especially Noah have started talking about everything. They have been talking for a long time, but now they talk non-stop and are putting together sentences. Noah even says "Dadgumit!" when he is mad. Mina uses her speech to tattle on Mom and Dad a lot. If I swat her she goes running to tell Jake on me and vice-ersa.

Jamie and Linda are for the most part, great older siblings. They are very loving and protective of Noah and Mina. There are a lot of times where I will come out in the living room and find all four kids snuggled up together watching television. It is very sweet to see.

We are getting very used to snow since it seems to snow almost every day here. Jamie and Linda love to climb the snow mountains left by the plow after they plow our parking lot. They also love to build forts with the other kids. We are all adjusting well and life seems to be pretty good for us. Everyday seems to confirm that this was the right choice for our family.

Christmas Photos

Wow look at me, I am on a roll. I am finally posting the Christmas pictures. We had a great last Christmas in our former state. My SIL and BFF Dianne came to visit us for the holidays and brought my nephew Zach. Those of you who are faithful readers know that my brother-in-law Jeremiah is doing yet another tour of duty in Iraq so we were very blessed to get to have her spend the holidays with us. For those of you who do not read my blog regularly, that will help explain the presense of a 5th child. Here is a hint-my nephew is the toddler that actually has a good quantity of hair. Although I swear my babies have grown a ton of hair since we moved to the great North, probably to keep warm. Anyways, as promised, here we go....

Finally, the birthday pictures.

So I finally have a few minutes to post the pics from Noah and Mina's birthday. I do not, however, have time to post my comments about them, so feel free to make your own. Comment me if you have any questions.

Wisconsin Update

I know people are still waiting for pictures and I will get to them I promise, but I had just a few minutes and I wanted to update all of our friends and family in Kansas.

First of all my knee is doing much better. Not 100%, but getting there. I have an MRI on Tuesday to check and see if I tore the meniscus when I fell. I really hope not because that would mean surgery if I did.

Weather-it has snowed almost everyday since we got here. However, the road management is much better here so you can still move around pretty easily which is nice.

Housing-We have moved from the hotel to the temporary apartment. The apartment is three bedrooms and two bathrooms which is so much nicer than the hotel rooms. The living room, kitchen, and dining room all have vaulted ceilings which make it seem so much bigger and nicer. It is furnished and everything from plates to towels were brand new when we moved in.

School-The kiddos have started school and they love it. They are in separate classes and doing well.

Work-work is great. I love my coworkers and my bosses. It seems like everyone cares about each other like a family and that is so nice. I am very busy already and that is good because it make the days fly by.

That is it for now. We miss and love you all. We have a home phone number now so if you text me I will send it to you. Talk to you soon!
