Running around like a...well you know

I am sorry blogger world for the neglect. I am so busy with our move that I have not had time to blog. I know I still have birthday pictures and now Christmas pictures, but it will probably be mid-January before I get them up.

The move date is set for New Years Eve. We do not have to pack most of the stuff because the movers are contracted to do it for us, however, we have had to get rid of a lot of stuff, and pack everything my family might need for two months that goes with us and not the moving truck. We are going to be living in company provided temporary housing until we find a place up there. To make it even more crazy, I flew out for ten day in the middle of December to begin working. Time has been flying by so fast. Today we meet with the realtor to get the house on the market and finish packing what we need. Tomorrow the movers come to begin packing.

It was a good Christmas though with the exception of the dreaded stomach bug that made it's way through my house. So far it's victims have been Zach, Noah, Jake, Linda, Mina, Dianne, and myself. Jamie is the only one left standing right now. I kind of hope he gets it because I would rather he have it now than on the road in the car.

This is all I have time for right now. Sorry for the jumble, it may be awhile before I can get back to my normal blogging. I am going to leave you with one picture though. While I was in the airport to fly out, I got to meet and have my picture taken with (most of) Boys II Men! They were one of my favorite groups of the 90's so I am very, very excited. Who knew I would meet a celebrity at 4 a.m. over an airport bagel. So other that the fact that I did not have make-up on because it was 4 a.m. it is an awesome picture. I was very much star-struck. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Wisconsin Here We Come

Yikes! A very exciting, and a little scary change is happening to our family. We are leaving our hometown mid-western state and moving to Wisconsin. I was made a very great job offer with an amazing salary, amazing benefits, and everything we need to make a move happen and today I accepted the offer. I would not say it is set in stone yet, but I would say 99% probability. I have learned nothing is ever set in stone until it happens, but this is a pretty definite thing. When will all this happen you ask, by the first of the year.

We are very excited, it is a very safe town with an excellent school system and lots of hunting and fishing. The whole town centers around a lake so there is always something to do. The housing market is amazing as well. We will keep everybody posted and will be contacting family ASAP to inform them of the move. We will miss all of our friends and family so much, but this is an amazing opportunity. We hope to get to say goodbye to everybody in the near future. Until then, we love you and I will keep you updated.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a real treat this year. My sister and her family drove in from Arizona. My mom, sister, and sister-in-law drove in from Missouri. It was so nice to have most of my family here for the holiday. We made a 22 lb. turkey and I hosted 16 people at my house. My mom help me cook BTW. There were a lot of kids:
Jamie-9 years
Linda-9 years
Jasmine-6 years
Elizabeth-5 years
Zach-2 years
Mina-2 years
Noah-2 years
Michael-2 years.

Yes, you read right, that was 4 two year olds. It was total chaos so I did not get as many photos as I should have, but here are a few.
